‘Who gives this woman away?’ my father and my two sons, Landen and Bryson, all said in
unison, ‘We do!’ Initially, when Paul and I had asked the boys if they would help give me away,
Landen said, ‘I don’t want to give you away—I want to keep you.’ But after we explained what
the tradition meant, they agreed and began practicing their line. This photograph makes me so
happy because I can see how excited my sons are about creating our new family together.”
