I have been thinking about New Year's resolutions. Of course, I have the same "get in shape" resolution as everyone else. However, this isn't satisfying me this year. I needed to come up with something more in depth. What will my resolution be that is more than just your run of the mill resolution. Here are some items that I've come up with so far. There will be more to come - this is a slow process.
1 - Give more of myself to those around me - whoever that may be.
2 - Give my time to those less fortunate than me more than once a year. Sometimes, we think donating items sufice, but a smiling face and a helping hand can mean so much more.
3 - Get organized so that I can do the above items.

Jackie & John
Jackie and John!!!! I don't even know where to start. They were so great and willing to go anywhere and do anything. We even walked on the coral reef - we got kicked off of that. She put her dress on three times within two days just to take pictures - Bless her heart!!! Crazy, I know!
Travis shot this wedding at the Atlantis with me.
Here's a few images.

Justin
I have been very fortunate to have some very good second shooters this past year. One is Justin DeMutiis, he has started his own photography business and is doing some good work. I shot with him on one of his weddings last weekend - here are some of the images I got.

Capturing History
I went out searching for polls today just to see the lines and to capture some history. We voted early because we just knew that there would be lines around the corner. To my surprise, some of the polling sites had no lines at all! There were still some pretty excited folks out though. The lady with the handwritten sign reminds me of something out of the 60's.

Ela & Jason
I had the opportunity to shoot a fellow photographer's wedding this weekend. Ela was so easy to shoot since she knew exactly what it would take to get the photo's we wanted. The wedding took place at the Sunset Beach House. Jennifer from A Friend of the Bride coordinated the wedding. It was awesome!
